Went to happy hour here over the weekend (they have happy hour every day) and had the best value cocktails in Santa Monica since we moved here a year ago. The cocktails were tasty and $7 and there were delicious happy hour snacks to go along with them. We got the pesto grilled cheese to share. The service was great, ambiance impeccable and they have a decent selection of whiskeys. Can't wait to go back.

I like this restaurant a lot! I've Brunched near the pool area a few times! They have a good breakfast! The staff is nice and the over all ambience and vibe is good! This is one of my go to spots! It's chill chic and trendy! All the qualities I love in a restaurant/hotel

Had Christmas brunch here. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Valet parking, thought there is a charge. Service was fast and friendly. Food prices okay, drinks a bit pricey. Food was delicious. I had the pancakes which where huge, fluffy, and came with fresh strawberries and bananas. Order some bacon on the side which made for a hearty brunch.

Came here on a Friday night for a friends bday dinner. We had a reservation for 6 people at 8:30pm. I was surprised to see the restaurant and bar were pretty dead. I know this place used to be a hot spot but I guess not anymore. Either way I really appreciate the ambiance there and didn't mind it being rather empty. We sat at a nice table outside and waiter soon came up to us. The waiter didn't introduce himself, didn't say hello or how are you, just started asking what he could get us with a rather grumpy attitude. I immediately got the feeling he wasn't happy about serving us. I tried to lighten up the situation by asking him how he's doing and smile at him, but really this should have been the other way around. My friend also sensed his poor attitude and smiled at him and asked him what his name was (for the purpose of anonymity I won't mention his name here). Anyway, after some coaxing we eventually got the waiter to be more receptive to us but I was really turned off on how much he wasn't trying. Maybe it's because gratuity is automatically included for parties of 6 or more so he figured he didn't have to try. Anyway, if my review was only based on service I would have given less stars but the food was actually good and we did have a nice dinner. For drinks I tried the "Going Green" which had alcohol plus healthy ingredients like lemon grass and green juice. The drink tasted like pure grass! I couldn't taste the alcohol at all. It actually tasted like one of those spirulina shots you get at Jamba Juice that you have to quickly throw back. So maybe that drink was a little too much on the healthy side. I think what could make that drink better is a little kiwi juice. 2nd drink I got was a margarita which tasted pretty standard. For food we shared a bunch of apps including the Tuna Tar tar, the chicken meatballs, beet salad, and Brussel sprouts. All were very good. For entrees I tried the Bolognese pasta which was pretty dry and bland, needed more sauce and flavor. Overall I think service was 2 stars, food/drinks 3 stars, and ambiance 4 stars. They did comp us a bday dessert which was very nice. If I could give half stars I would give 3.5.
